You should definitely explore Downtown Kota Kinabalu district, it's worth it. The staff were fantastic lot of the time.

Great location and staff, reasonable price. The superior queen room we were given had a minibar, television with satellite channels and a private safe. As picky eaters we loved to be close to plenty of restaurants, went to Chopping Block couple of times, it was 5 mins walk away. Superior place, you know.
